Brutger Equities, Inc. (BEI) originated in 1954 when Dan J. Brutger began developing residential housing. Since the late 1960’s, the company has developed and/or managed over 6,500 housing units in an 11-state area, both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
In 1989 Larry Brutger joined the company. Using his financial background, he reorganized the company and in 1991 purchased 100% of the company stock. Today BEI employs over 450 people and owns and/or manages four types of properties: hotels, affordable housing, market rate housing, and restaurants.
Today, the company continues to evolve as a growing, aggressive real estate organization involved in a variety of housing and hotel development projects in the Midwest and far West regions of the United States.
